Although, I would not call fisher-price infant-to-toddler rocker a ""rocking"" chair. My child is 6.5 months elderly today & they still makes use of this chair. My child has been using fisher-price infant-to-toddler rocker since they was about a couple weeks elderly, possibly even earlier! As a newborn, I had the chair set in the ""newborn"" or reclined position. Besides basically spending some ""observation"" time in the chair, they used fisher-price infant-to-toddler rocker a lot to feed her with a bottle. I propped fisher-price infant-to-toddler rocker upright (in the kid position) with a book & used it. since then, they have been using it in an upright position. It does have the soothing vibrations which they used a lot in the beginning. Now, they seldom have the necessity for it. fisher-price infant-to-toddler rocker chair provides as a great transition ""feeding"" chair. Until date, I have been feeding solids only in this chair. I am now prepared to move onto a true high chair. A few features I liked about this chair: -was great for soothing as a newborn (either by using the vibrations or by rocking). My child liked it much & would nod off. The only issue was they would wake up one time the soothing treatment stopped :) - served well for feeding as a transition chair - light weight, so transportable around the house - the battery has lasted well (haven't changed it yet) - the chair cover is simple to wash & straightforward to put back (immense and, thinking about all the carrots & peas they get on it) - nice value for the cost - seems sturdy The not-so-positive feature is the strap at the back on top; (not the lower ones).
