Developmental Guidelines: Use the upright position only when your child has developed enough upper body control to sit without leaning forward. Always use the restraint until your child is able to climb in and out of the chair unassisted.

I have 2 boys ages one year and a pair of.5 years, and that i have 2 of those rockers. My oldest enjoys watching TV whereas sitting in fisher-price infant-to-toddler rocker (even with the kick stand up). My youngest still takes naps in his rocker. we've got one rocker upstairs and one downstairs principally that the baby will take naps. The directions tell you to not use the rocking position till the kid will get in and out of the chair on his own. So, yes, if you have got a nine month previous learning to crawl within the rocker within the rocking position, he/she are able to lean forward and tip the chair over. Keep the chair within the kick stand position or place fisher-price infant-to-toddler rocker up for a couple of months as another mother prompt. Around 15-18 months, once you bring fisher-price infant-to-toddler rocker back out, your child can very fancy the freedeom of moving into and out of the rocker on his/her own. The straps are often simply tucked away when not required anymore. Vibration is nice for infants. Toy bar has some neat toys that hold attention. i would suggest evidently.
